| During the seasons of Lent and
Advent we offer participation in a special prayer ministry here at Trinity. It is called Prayer Partners. This provides an
opportunity to pray for someone and be prayed for by someone. Those interested are matched up with a
secret prayer partner they pray each day during the church season. At the registration time, information is collected
with any special prayer requests.
A list of scripture readings is provided for devotional time each day. The special
prayer requests make it easy to remember your partner each day. A relationship between you and your prayer partner
grows throughout the season even though it is a secret.
At the end of Lent/Advent, we have a gathering to announce who has been
praying for whom. It is fun time to thank and
meet the person who has given you the gift of prayer.
Growing in knowledge and faith through the Word is a part of the Trinity mission
statement. We offer this opportunity here. We also offer the chance to know our members
better through a prayer relationship.
