Welcome to the web site of Trinity Lutheran Church in Marshalltown, Iowa.  Trinity is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and has been bearing witness to Christ and serving our community since 1876.

As a parish family, we are committed to celebrating God's love, growing in our faith, and reaching out with the compassion of Christ to all people.  We celebrate God's love through our weekly gathering in worship to hear the good news in both Word and Sacrament.  It is in our weekly gathering in worship that we are renewed in our Baptism and encouraged to go into our homes, workplaces, and community to serve Christ.  We grow in our faith through Bible study, adult classes, Sunday School for all ages, Confirmation and First Communion instruction.  These faith growth opportunities help us to understand God's love and purpose for our lives.  We reach out with the compassion of Christ through a multitude of ministries that express our faith in practical ways.  We know that our love for God must be followed by love for our neighbor.  Throughout our web site you will find lots of information about your celebrating, growing, and outreaching congregation.  We welcome your participation in any of the ministries of our parish and will be glad to share more with you about God's love and the many ways to serve Him.  If there is any way we can minister to you, we would be pleased to have you contact us.  Our phone number and e-mail can be found on the web site.  God bless you.
