Worship
Life at Trinity
Worship is the gathering of our community to praise God in song, to be instructed
on the teachings of Gods Word, to pray for each other and the world, and to receive
the body and blood of Christ in the Eucharist, or as is sometimes called, Holy Communion.
It is also in worship that we confess our sins and receive the gift of Gods
forgiveness so that we can go forth to serve our neighbor and witness to Gods love
for all people.
Worship Times
We offer three worship times each weekend. Saturday at 5:30 p.m. and
Sunday at 8:15 and 10:45 a.m. In the summer, (Memorial Day through Labor
Day) we combine services and
have one service at 10:00 a.m. Eucharist (Holy Communion) is celebrated at all of our
weekend worship services. We believe that each week we need to receive this gift of Christ
so that our faith can be nourished and strengthened. All baptized Christians are welcome
to receive communion.
Special Services
Many other worship services are celebrated throughout the year in honor of special
days and seasons. Special services are held during Advent and Christmas and during Lent
and Holy Week. These special services are posted on our web page or you may call the
parish office for the schedule.
Worship Style
We offer both traditional and contemporary styles of worship. Our contemporary
worship is led by our band, Bread of Life. We believe that there are many ways
to worship God and that it is good for us to offer a variety of styles in music and
liturgy. Bread of Life leads worship on the 2nd and 4th Sundays at
the 10:45 a.m. service and for other
special services. If you have questions about our traditional and contemporary worship
schedule please call the parish office. |
