This year's
theme...
GOD IS OUR STRENGTH!
"Those who
have integrity possess one of the most respected virtues in all of life.
Furthermore, they stand out in any office, school or community. If
you can be trusted, whether alone or in a crowd...if you are truly a
person of your word and convictions, then you are allowing your faith,
your desire to follow Christ to make a difference in your life."

A
quick glimpse of our ministry includes:
-
3rd-6th
Grade - Providing faith-building fellowship events where friendships
are formed with peers and also with other adults within the
congregation.
-
7th-8th -
Confirmation is a two-year program centered on the teachings of
Martin Luther in the Small Catechism. Classes meet on
Wednesday evenings during the school year. Confirmation
students also provide worship assistance by being an acolyte.
-
High School
- Along with Sunday morning breakfast and class, youth leadership in
worship, servant and fellowship events, one of the most popular
aspects of our High School Youth is the Summer Ministry of Camping
and Mission Trips. We have repaired homes, worked on forest
trails, led children's day camps, canoed, backpacked, and rafted
while building relationships with God and each other.
-
College
Students - As our youth move our of their parental homes and off to
college, we strive to maintain a relationship with this age group
letting them know the church still loves and cares for them.
We send Advent and Valentine Packages, bi-monthly e-mail devotions,
our Thanksgiving Eve worship is led by college students, and each
fall as the students leave for their campus homes, they individually
receive a blessing at a Sunday morning worship service.
Along with so much more! Come join us!
